Integrative, Compassionate, Collaborative
Licensed Psychologist
Hi, I’m Elisheva Gewirtz
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with a deep commitment to helping young women navigate the complex emotional terrain of life. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, chronic pain, or a general sense of feeling stuck, therapy can offer clarity and practical tools to help you move forward.
My approach is highly goal-oriented. I don’t believe therapy should last a lifetime. We’ll work together to define what matters most to you, set clear goals, and build the skills and insight needed to reach them — so you can live the life you want.
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapies (DBT and ACT), trauma therapies, and somatic and attachment-based work.
For those in the frum community, I bring a nuanced understanding of the challenges faced by seminary girls, young women in shidduchim or dating, and young married couples living in Israel away from family. And if you’re coming from outside that world, you’ll find the same warmth and openness.
I see clients in person in Yerushalayim as well as virtually.
Creating a plan that works for you
No two people are the same — and therapy shouldn’t be either. I take an individualized, collaborative approach, tailoring our work to your specific goals, values, and emotional needs. For clients in the frum community, I understand the unique pressures and expectations that can shape emotional well-being — whether you’re a seminary girl adjusting to life in Israel away from family, a young woman navigating shidduchim, or a newly married couple building a home together. Whether you’re looking to develop skills to manage intense emotions, gain clarity about patterns in your relationships, or work through challenges that feel overwhelming, we’ll focus on creating a process that feels both practical and meaningful. My approach is integrative and compassionate, grounded in evidence-based therapies and designed to help you create real, lasting change.
